Ignatius: “Not pupil so much as guest.”

Midas: pokes the zombie “Well this day just makes less and less sense…why is this here?”

Ignatius: Have we met? I don’t recall seeing you around the place.

Ignatius: Perhaps you used illusions to mask your presence? That would be rather bold in a tower full of mages though.

Mage: “These are here because I don’t wish to be disturbed when working on complex rituals. And… for study.”

Mage: “And I don’t need illusions in the Tower, I very rarely work in the floors above ground. My Lady requires the most diligent efforts in order to complete her plans.”

Ignatius: The question I have is. What sort of magic requires a secret laboratory in an underground… uh… lair… full of zombies? I’m going to go ahead and assume it is rather nefarious.

Mage: “The zombies have their purpose, what is wrong with the pursuit of knowledge beyond what is socially acceptable?”
