## Entering the Tomb o Dejin

James: The Gate Keepers make their way to the fey crossing in the marshes nearby, and find themselves lost in fog as dawn approaches. As the sun rises they notice that the air seems fresh, crisp even, and brigher – more colorful than they’ve ever seen it before, as if they’re seeing the color green for the first time.

James: The air pulses with a subtle feeling, you can tell that you’ve crossed over to the feywild.

James: As you get your bearings Lia notices a trail, several sets of foot prints that are at least a day old, leading through the mud. They travel east, where they stop at a large oak tree.

James: Cian notices that there is a notch in the wood directly in front of Lia, it just seems that there is something of a door there…

- Cian tries to open the door.

James: Cian steps up and presses on the trunk of the tree, it gives way, swinging inward to a hall much larger than the trunk of the tree. Made of stone, the hallway stretches out in front of you, to a wide room set with doors, guarded by two suits of armor. Etchings on the archway above the entrance read “Welcome, If you’re here to rob me – enjoy trying. If you’re here to pay your respects – enjoy trying. If you’re here for any other reason – I have no idea what it could be.”

Cian: That is one busy squirrel.

Lia: Wow… he really didn’t want visitors…

Cian: Can’t blame him.

Lia: Yeah

James: Cian and Lia can also tell that the shackles on the Eastern wall seem to be… slithering.

James whispers: you can tell that he sets up his traps mostly to be activated upon entering the room. Some seem to happen when getting near enough to an object, not necessarily what stone you stepped on, or any other such physical trigger.

Cian: I’ll take point for now.

James whispers: in the room you can obviously see the treasure, the chests are fake, but the coins in the pots are real. It works out to about 1500 gp.

Cian: Since we are here, these are worth taking with us.

Cian: Need to cover our expenses.

- Cian motions at the barrels of coins.

Lia: Ah, good, nice of him to not trap the treasure.

Cian: Well, it was….

Lia: And yeah, I’m not taking point any more that’s for sure.

- Cian motions at the statues and chains.

Lia: True.

Cian: You have good eyes though Lia, so keep watch.

James whispers: can see that the doors are locked together by more than just physical locks. Also, they have a face etched into them with chalk. It’s eyes are closed.

You whisper to James: Cian investigates the face more closely, tries to determine the function of it.

- Cian is closely investigating the door.

Cian: Everyone may want to stand back to be safe.

James whispers: you can’t quite determine what the face might do, but you think it will do something if you either touch it or talk to it.

- Cian to the door, “Greetings door.”
- The Doors the face on the door opens its eyes, and starts to move.

The Doors: “Hello.”

Frakk: What.

Midas: Yep, still hate this place

Cian: We are interested in passage through.

Lia: I’m not the biggest fan either Midas.

The Doors: “Of course you are. Everyone who talks to me is.”

Cian: Of course.

Cian: What must we do?

The Doors: “Do you even know where you are?”

The Doors: “Hm… I’d be willing to let you pass through if you can do a dance for me.”

Cian: We are seeking one known as Dajani, a mage who we belive is here. If not for her we would not be here at all.

Cian: But if you would like a dance, I will try.
