James: As Midas looks over the bodies he realizes that everything of value has been stripped them. They lay in only the most basic of torn clothing.
James: Midas does find a +2 Staggering Warhammer amongst the fallen enemies.

Frakk: (to the cultist) Where did they take the armor?
Cian: Arf!

Lia: Nope, we fought the cultists. I’m Lia, and this is my pet wolf Cian.
Cian: Grrrr……

  • Cian evil glare.

Elle Padraig: “Adventurers and your pets. My father told me just yesterday of some adventurers he met at the Lost Unicorn that had a pet goblin.”

  • Cian wimpers.

Lia: Yes, some of them, well some of them died. That’s why we’re here.

Lia: What is that you’re drinking?

Lia: rolls 33 on his perception check.

Cultist 1: “Armor? I don’t know. They looted a bunch of stuff from here. Dajani took some of it – I don’t know where she is. Some others took the rest, they’re stationed up at the Mayor’s old Manor.”

Elle Padraig: “It’s a very old scotch that my father keeps hidden in the back room for when he has to give very long speeches.”

Elle Padraig: “I figured since they were keeping me here, I might as well enjoy myself.”

  • Lia laughs despite herself.

Elle Padraig: “I’d offer you some, but I don’t think there’s very much left.”

Elle Padraig: “None.”

Lia: Oh, absolutely.

Lia: Well, who is your father?

Elle Padraig: “Mayor Padraig.”

Lia: Ah, well, you’d best come with us then, we’ll get you safe, and fed.
Cian: Sniffs around the room.

Midas: Is there any secret way into the manor?

Elle Padraig: “The men that were keeping me said that they had killed him. And they were keeping me as a negotation piece if they needed to make a deal with any survivors.”

Lia: follow me dear, you’re no longer a negotiating piece, we’ll make sure you’re safe.

Cultist 1: “Not that I know of. If you want, you should ask the girl. She knows more about it than me.”

  • Cian happy bark.

Cultist 1: “I mean, it used to be her house after all. Mayor’s daughter and all that.”

Midas: You are the mayor’s daughter?
Cian: Grrrr…

  • Cian snort

Elle Padraig: “Yup. That’s me.”

Lia: "midas, lets gather the bodies, and get her back to the fortress, get safe then we can find out what we need to know

Lia: I don’t like spending more time here than we need to."

Midas: I need to know if there is any secret way into your house. There is something of importance to me that may have been taken there.

Frakk: Agreed.

  • Frakk kicks the cultist over, and starts tying his hands together. Removes any weapons, scrolls, implements, lockpicks, etc. from the cultist.

Elle Padraig: “Well there isn’t really. I mean, there’s a pretty thick vine that grows on the North side of the wall, behind the house, that can get you over the wall and into the Manor grounds if you want, but it’s not like a secret passage or anything.”

  • Cian holds the Cultists head down with his front paws.

Elle Padraig: “Though I suppose it’s better than trying to knock down the gates.”

Midas: Thank you. We will be leaving now, it will not be safe here for long, there is a guard post not far from here, I would go there if I were you.

Lia: Midas we can’t leave her alone, and we have to take the captive back anyway for further questioning before we move on.

Frakk: Agreed. It will be a quick stop, and then to find Tyrile… or rather his armor.

Lia: Yes, it won’t take long.

Frakk: let us carry the bodies of the fallen back as well
