Effect: Tyrile pushes each target 1 square, but not into hindering terrain.

Aldis: like this? “\” “>”

Cian: vanishes into the shadow energy around bad guy 1 and then steps out of it near bad guy 2.

Effect: You teleport 3 squares to a square adjacent to a different creature.

Tyrile: Shouts a word of inspiring fortitude.

Close Burst 5

Tyrile uses his second wind, and each target gains 12 temporary hit points.

Cian: calls forth a spirit of necromatic hunger, allowing it to harvest the life force of his enemies.

Effect: A soul-consuming spirit from the land of the dead appears in an unoccupied square within range. The sould seeker counts as an ally for the purpose of flanking. Whenever you reduce an enemy that is adjacent to the soul seeker to 0 hit points or fewer, you heal a number of hit points equal to your Wis modifier (+4). If you reduce the target of your oath of enmity to 0 hit points or fewer, you can use your oath of enmity power as a free action against a target adjacent to your soul seeker.

Sustain Minor: The soul seeker persists and you can move it 5 squares. The soul seeker ignores difficult terrain. The soul seeker vanishes at the end of your turn if it is out of your line of sight.

Tyrile: Close Burst 5

TYrile can spend two healing surges, and regains 7 additional hit points.

Dwarven Soldier: “I will take you to her cell.”

Dwarven Soldier: “She was stashed in here with a few of the experiments. She was unconcious when they brought her in, but with the crystal engine destroyed, the creatures might have returned to their normal… disposition. So… good luck with that.”

Aldis: “stashed?”
Dwarven Soldier: “stashed, sacrificed, tomatoe, tomahtoe.”
Cian: Doesn’t sound like the normal disposition is much different from their alterned disposition.

Aldis: http://www.hotpicsfun.com/images/imageitems/Mustache-Champions/mustache-champions-4.jpg

Aldis: no, let’s go make sure she’s right
Dwarven Soldier: “I’m just a mercenary, but if I’m not mistaken the occupant of this experiment chamber was a drake that the Monster Hunters grabbed from the lands to the South.”

Aldis: oh goody

Cian: We better not lose any time then.

Aldis: nope

Aldis: Agera?

Aldis: Helloo?

Aldis: rolls 17 on his perception check.

Midas: “Drakes.”

Aldis: hostile?

Tyrile: “Delightful”

Midas: “Oh um… Yes.”

Midas: “Anyone speak Draconic?”

Aldis: yes!

Tyrile: “Yes”

Aldis: OH

Aldis: hello?

Aldis: « Draconic = 0 » Hello?

Aldis: Grr argh snap

Adamantine Dragon: (speaking in Common) “You do not wear the robes of the Jade Tower Cultists.”

  • Aldis looks at robes

Aldis: no

Aldis: and you’re intelligent

Adamantine Dragon: “I’m a Dragon.”

Cian: All of the ones we found were bloody and had slashes in them.

Aldis: which is more than I can say for some of her other “experiments”

Adamantine Dragon: “Experiments?”

Aldis: yes… this place was used to force magix from the far realm into the minds of other creatures to bend them to Alera’s will

Aldis: wait! no eating~!
makes some gutteral noise which calls back the lesser drakes.

Aldis: thank you

Adamantine Dragon: “Yes. The mages here have a habit of domination. There was talk of their attempts to turn me into a Dragolich.”

Cian: Rolls a 16 for a total of 28 on his insight check.

Aldis: Ah, I am glad they did not succeed then.
James: Cian can tell that the Dragon is attempting to be diplomatic, and does not see the need to battle a troop of hardened adventurers unless they get in his way of escaping.

Tyrile: Same.

Aldis: Where will you go now? These lands are not your own

Adamantine Dragon: “I don’t know, perhaps I will make my home in a nearby mountain, there is much happening here, and most villages would be thankful for the protection I might be able to grant them in return for small favors.”

Aldis: There was a lair near us, with some kobolds

Aldis: The previous owner, Szartharrax, met an untimely end when he was found aiding your current captors

Aldis: well, aiding the sorceress’ husband, really.

Adamantine Dragon: “Speaking in the slaying of Dragons, in the presence of a dragon, is not usually wise.”
James: of* not in*

Aldis: Perhaps, but I mean you no ill will.

Aldis: rolls a 17 for a total of 28 on his diplomacy check.

Adamantine Dragon: “I accept your apology.”

Adamantine Dragon: “Do you know of an exit?”

Aldis: ah, no

Adamantine Dragon: “To this… place?”

Aldis: well, not one that doesn’t lead to the underdark

Aldis: … yet

Cian: We’re still working on that detail.

Aldis: it’s a work in progress

Tyrile: “do we even know if we are still in the same…area?”

Aldis: You can’t perchance, summon magic portals?

Tyrile: “The underdark section here could be hundreds of miles from where we entered.”

Adamantine Dragon: “I know a few rituals, none of them concern portals. Do you know of anyone who does? Perhaps one of the Jade Mages could be coerced?”

Aldis: Maybe, but we haven’t found any that haven’t attacked us on sight

Aldis: Oh, my name is Aldis by the way

  • Cian wipes a bit of Jade Mage off of his Axe.

Cian: Uh…

Aldis: Beside me is Midas, and behind are Cian and Tyrile

  • Cian whistles.
    nods solemnly

Adamantine Dragon: “My name is Adaran.”

  • Tyrile does a gracious bow, hand on cloak as he does it.

Adamantine Dragon: “You were looking for… Her? I presume? The leader of the Jade Tower?”

  • Cian gives a casual salute.

Aldis: found & executed

Aldis: oh, wait

Aldis: the real leader

Aldis: yes

Aldis: sorry, old age

Aldis: they look the same

Aldis: pardon me, I forgot myself.

Aldis: rolls a 12 for a total of 27 on his heal check.

  • Tyrile slowly raises his free palm to his face, shaking his head slowly.
  • Aldis administers aid to agera

Adamantine Dragon: “Take her. I am going to claw my way out of this place, and wreak havok on any who wear the Jade Robes.”

Aldis: ah… well, to be honest the Jade tower is not all bad

Aldis: these cultists subverted it from within

Aldis: not all are worthy of death

Aldis: rolls a 14 for a total of 25 on his diplomacy check.
launches upwards in a surge from his wings to the ceiling forty feet above, and begins tearing away at it, stone and dirt plummeting to the floor beneath."

Aldis: wait with the what!?

Aldis: somebody get the real Agera

Cian: Time to go…

Adamantine Dragon: “You may follow me if you so desire.”

  • Aldis looks up at ceiling

Tyrile: "And to be honest, even a dragon should do its best to avoid making enemies with a national mage guild, even if it was subverted. But do as you please.

Aldis: ah, there may be others trapped here that need freeing

Cian: I think I’ll find a more conventional means of departure from this dungeon.

Aldis: “conventional means magic?”

Cian: Magic works, I forgot my wings today.

Splug: i am disappoint
